Nursery

Our large open plan Nursery provides 39 morning places and 39 afternoon places. We offer a very high quality induction and support for children and parents in their early days of partnership with the school. A teacher and two qualified practitioners work with children following the Foundation Stage Curriculum guidance.

The Nursery is an exciting place to be with lots of hands on learning both indoors and outdoors. Children are encouraged to be independent and love learning through a range of self chosen planned activities and small group learning. As well as following a daily routine, children experience a diverse range of activities each day. This could range from exploring how balloons travel through the air to creating collages with natural materials and performing in a Christmas production. We introduce basic skills such as phonics and early number work in a fun way so that children develop a secure foundation in these skills.
