What a fantastic skipping workshop led by Lee from Skip Hop this week. The whole school learnt how to hold their skipping rope in the correct position (penguin position) with hands by their hips and practised turning the rope behind their backs and over their hips. The more advanced skippers learnt lots of new tricks and jumps. Some children were lucky enough to try double Dutch skipping! Research has shown that skipping improves coordination, balance and basic movement skills in children. Thank you Lee!
